Investment activity

In accordance with the updated investment policy of the Baiterek Holding and the Sole Shareholder, the Fund s investment policy focuses on projects of the private sector of the economy of Kazakhstan that contribute to the sustainable social and economic development of the country. The Fund provides financing for both large, capital-intensive projects with a long payback period in non-resource industries, as well as small and medium-sized business projects. The Fund s investment policy has introduced such an indicator as the project development index. The attractiveness of projects is assessed on the basis of the development index, which allows prioritizing the most significant social and economic projects and providing them with the most favorable financing conditions.
